Seniors 0-2 (L)
The seniors suffered their first loss in the league since March 2021 against a well drilled Ringwood side. In a first half which was short of many clear chances, Ringwood took the lead, scoring a good header direct from a corner. The Parkers were struggling to carve open a solid Ringwood defence, with Lucas Cassin looking the most likely to make something happen. First half ended 1-0 Ringwood.
Parkers started the second half brightly, but the positive start was short lived, with Ringwood scoring their second of the game on 47mins, again resulting from a corner. The remainder of the game saw few chances for either side, with Parkers struggling to play through a tough Ringwood midfield, and Ringwood looking to capitalise on set pieces where they looked dangerous throughout. The game ended 2-0 which was a fair reflection of the game in general. Parkers will regroup and look to bounce back this week against top of the table Sandringham.
